Irvine-Based Business Expands Operations and Seeks New Recruits to Support Increased Demand

Andrew Wright Windows, the Irvine-based business supplying windows, doors, roofline, flat roof replacement, conservatories, sunrooms, and kitchens across Scotland, is celebrating a period of strong business growth under its new management team. With turnover up and a renewed focus on customer-led service, the company has undergone significant operational changes aimed at enhancing efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Since being acquired in 2023 by turnaround specialists and team builders Mark Bradford and Jamie Fraser, Andrew Wright Windows has secured a series of key contract wins. The company is now looking to expand its workforce to meet the growing demand from both domestic and commercial customers.

The new management team has implemented substantial process changes and placed a strong emphasis on customer service, with a culture shift that has been embraced across the business. The results are already visible, with online customer reviews consistently nearing 100% satisfaction over the past six months.

Mark Bradford said:

“Andrew Wright Windows has been trading for 87 years and has built a well-earned reputation for quality, professionalism, and fair dealing. The changes we are making - both in terms of operational efficiency and our customer-first approach - are ensuring a sustainable and successful future. The dedication and buy-in from our staff have been tremendous, and we are seeing the benefits through increased customer satisfaction and business growth.”

Currently employing around 70 staff, the company is looking to recruit an additional 7 to 8 positions, including fabricators, installers, and drivers. Finding skilled workers in these areas remains a challenge, but the company is committed to training and developing new talent to meet demand.

Mark Bradford continued: “There is always room for improvement, but we are pleased with the direction we are heading. A key part of our vision is to create opportunities for young people in the industry. While we do not yet have a formal apprenticeship program, we have rejoined the Ayrshire Chamber and are working with Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) to offer work experience days and provide meaningful support to young job seekers.”

With a clear strategy for growth and a commitment to customer service excellence, Andrew Wright Windows is positioning itself as the company of choice for homeowners and businesses across Scotland. As the company continues its recruitment drive and investment in its workforce, it remains dedicated to building a sustainable and successful future for both employees and customers alike.
