Annanhill Primary’s football team has made a clean sweep of this year’s Cup competitions winning an unprecedented five trophies.
Last December they lifted the Killie Trust Futsal Cup after beating Gargieston Primary in the final. In May it was the McWilliams Cup where they beat Alloway Primary in the final held at Bonnyton, where Nathan Todd and Kaiden Wright scored the winning goals.
June was the Spirit of Willie Fisher Memorial Shield at Ayrshire College where Annanhill lifted the shield after winning every game in the seven-team festival and also the Three Pillars Ayrshire Cup where they won the inaugural tournament beating Annick Primary 2-0 in the final, with Freddie Adams and Maximus Murphy scoring the goals.
And last week they completed the clean sweep by beating Nether Robertland Primary to become Dunlop Cup Champions. This is one of the oldest trophies in Scotland with a history dating back to 1937.
