The event, which started at Ayr Beach and concluded at Ayr Rugby Club, saw families, friends, and even some enthusiastic pets take part in a fun-filled run, all in the name of charity.

This year’s dash was a resounding success, raising vital funds for a variety of local charities that support Ayrshire communities. From providing aid to those in need to supporting youth programs and mental health initiatives, the funds raised will make a significant difference in the lives of many.

Participants of all ages braved the December chill to enjoy the festive atmosphere, with some walking, others jogging, and a few sprinting to the finish line at Ayr Rugby Club. On arrival, runners were greeted with hot drinks, snacks, and a celebratory festive vibe to mark their achievement.

Speaking at the event, Linda said:

“It’s incredible to see so many people come together to spread some festive cheer while also supporting such important local causes. The generosity and enthusiasm of everyone involved are truly heartwarming.”

Ayr Rugby Club also played a key role in hosting the finish line celebrations, ensuring participants had a warm and welcoming space to relax and enjoy the festive spirit.
