AYRSHIRE DIVISION RECOGNISES EXCELLENCE


Outstanding Voluntary Commitment to Ayrshire Division.



During our awards ceremony several members of our communities were recognised for the outstanding commitment and support they provide working in partnership with Police Scotland in ‘Keeping People Safe.’

In Ayrshire Division we are fortunate to be supported by Special Constable Volunteers who regularly contribute their time to do a variety of roles including events and operational policing.


This year Special Constable Livingstone was recognised as ‘Special Constable of the year’. She has been a Special Constable for over 8 years and has shown the highest level of professionalism and commitment to 'Keeping People Safe' in Ayrshire, we thank her for her continued service.


Largs Resilience Team – Mr Bertram, Mr Douglas and Mr Williamson were recognised for their professionalism and commitment to Voluntary work, they work with Police Scotland ensuring local events are managed professionally. Their dedication demonstrates an outstanding contribution in 'Keeping People Safe'


Furthermore we are grateful to the Police Scotland Adult and Youth Volunteer services. The PSYV programme aims to strengthen the relationships between young people and the Police. In the'Year of Young People' ,Youth Volunteer of the year was presented to Greig Richmond and Adult Volunteer of the year was presented to Mr Phil Radwell.


Constable Northorpe – Recognised for his contribution and commitment to Police Scotland Youth Volunteers here in Ayrshire.
