04:48 - Labour has gained Ayr, Carrick and Cumnock with 14,930 votes

 

04:30 - Labour has claimed Central Ayrshire with 18,091 votes


 

04:03 - Labour has won North Ayrshire & Arran with16,821 votes


 

02:42 - Labour has gained Kilmarnock & Loudoun from SNP with 19,065 votes


 

01:58 - Postal votes for Kilmarnock & Loudoun had a turnout of 82.9%


 

01:55 - Returning Officer Craig Hatton has confirmed the turnout for the North Ayrshire and Arran constituency is 58.8%


 

1AM - The verification process for Kilmarnock & Loudoun has now concluded and the count will now get underway.



 

00:05 - The constituencies of Central Ayrshire and Ayr, Carrick and Cumnock have begun at The Citadel Leisure Centre in Ayr.


 

23:40 - Eddie Fraser, Returning Officer for Kilmarnock and Loudoun has now announced all the ballot boxes have now arrived and the verification process is ongoing.


 

23:10 - Travelling back to the North Ayrshire & Arran Count with the Cumbrae ballot box


 

22:49: - Count Starts - Election Night Live: The count is now underway for North Ayrshire & Arran. Postal votes will be first to be counted, ahead of ballot boxes arriving from polling places around North Ayrshire and Arran.


 

22:35 - Election Night Live: We are all set up in the Ayr Citadel Count ready to bring you live updates throughout tonight as the results start coming in from across Ayrshire.


 

20:25 - Exit Poll: The Results from the Exit Poll are due around 10PM, this usually shows who is expected to win the election overall.


 

22:04 - Exit Poll suggests Labour to win by a landslide with a majority of 170, taking 410 seats, Conservatives are expected to take 131 seats & SNP is expected to win 10 seats, lower than polls suggested.
