Have your say on travel in the Garnock Valley

Travel and transport have long been reported as a challenge for residents and visitors to the Garnock Valley.

North Ayrshire Council are looking to hear your views on what you feel are the most pressing issues you experience and the impact it has on your life.

The council, on behalf of the Garnock Valley Locality Partnership Working Group, has commissioned transport consultants Sweco to carry out this research. They are looking for as much information and data as possible to help identify what might make travelling to and around the Garnock Valley a little easier.

NAC want to find out exactly what the travel challenges and barriers are in the area, and the impact of these challenges on the community. The results of the survey will provide an evidence base and justification for partners to work together towards identifying possible solutions.

NAC have launched a survey - which runs until December 8 - to identify what transport challenges our communities face when it comes to getting from A to B in and around the Garnock Valley.

If you would like to have your say, please complete this survey which should take approximately 10 minutes of your time.

Paper versions of this survey are available on request at the following libraries:

  • Beith Library

  • Dalry Library

  • Kilbirnie Library
