Local MSP Champions New Family Friendly Beer Garden

Ayr MSP Siobhian Brown has visited the newly opened Piv Beer Garden in Ayr, a new bar and grill venture by Curtis Briggs, the owner of the popular Pirate Pete’s soft play.

Located at the back of the children’s activity centre this seasonal venue, open from April to October, offers a family-friendly focus overlooking the Low Green.

Highlighting the positive impact of the new establishment on the local community and economy – the Ayr MSP said:

“It’s wonderful to see a place like this on the Low Green. This venture enhances Pavilion Road and the surrounding area, which is popular with tourists and local alike. It provides a welcoming space for families to enjoy quality time together. It's wonderful to see local businesses thriving and contributing to the appeal of Ayr as a destination."

Curtis Briggs who’s behind the Piv Beer Garden, shared his inspiration for the project:

"I wanted to create a place where people visiting the Low Green could enjoy cocktails, beers, and good food with their families whilst enjoying the view. The Piv Beer Garden is all about bringing people together in a relaxed, scenic setting, and we're excited to welcome everyone to experience it."

The bar and grill is open daily from 12noon until 9pm.
