Persimmon West Scotland Announced as Killie Community’s Housebuilding Partner for 2025

Killie Community, the charity arm of Kilmarnock F.C., has announced Persimmon West Scotland as its official Housebuilding Partner for 2025.

This partnership builds on a successful relationship established in 2023 and will see Persimmon further support the charity’s vital work across Ayrshire.

As part of the partnership, Persimmon will support Killie Community’s "Off The Bench" programme, launching this month at The Killie Community Hub. This initiative is designed to assist individuals on their employability journey by offering resources such as workshops, trade talks, and exclusive input from Persimmon experts to inspire participants and explore pathways into construction careers.

Additionally, Persimmon, as the official Housebuilding Partner, will support the prestigious Killie Community Hero Award.

Chris Logan, Managing Director of Persimmon West Scotland, said:

We’re proud to continue our partnership with Killie Community as their Housebuilding Partner for 2025. The work they do in transforming lives through their programmes is inspiring, and we’re excited to play a part in helping Ayrshire residents achieve their potential.

“Sponsoring the ‘Off The Bench’ programme is a natural fit for us as one of Ayrshire’s leading homebuilders. We’re committed to creating opportunities for people in the communities we serve and look forward to supporting participants as they develop valuable skills for their future careers.”

Grant Wallace, Employability Lead at Killie Community, added:

“Our employability programmes have become so important to local young people, and Persimmon’s support means we have continued backing in 2025, along with expert guidance to help signpost our participants to positive destinations.”

Killie Community delivers a wide range of programmes, including health, wellbeing, and employability initiatives, reaching over 7,600 people across Ayrshire in 2022. Through partnerships like this one with Persimmon, Killie Community continues to expand its impact and deliver lasting change to local lives.
