Detectives are appealing for information following a serious sexual assault that occurred in the early hours of Thursday, 13 June 2024, in Saltcoats.
As part of the investigation, Police Scotland has released an image of a man they wish to speak to. Officers are urging anyone who was in the area of Raise Street, Saltcoats, at the time of the incident to contact them.
In particular, they are appealing to individuals with dash cam or doorbell recording equipment to check their footage, as it may contain crucial images that could assist in the ongoing investigation.
Anyone with information or who recognises the man in the image is asked to contact Police Scotland by calling 101 and quoting incident number 3890 of Thursday, 13 June 2024. Information can also be given anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
