Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland as part of the Network Management Contract for the South West Trunk Road Unit, are proposing to resurface the full A77 Dutch House Roundabout circulatory. (See attachment: 20/SW/0103/039/100/001 for location).

Due to the depth of treatment necessary to providing a long last solution to the defects in the area it is necessary to implement a full weekend closure of Dutch House Roundabout to ensure safe completion of the works. A review of the roundabout markings will also take place to replace with a safer solution than existing.

The traffic management arrangements are as follows:

Fri 12 Feb 20:00 to Mon 15 Feb 06:00 – Full Weekend Closure of the A77 Dutch House Roundabout.

A diversion route will be in place during the weekend closure, as shown on the attached Diversion Drawing 20/NSW/0103/039/100/002 and described below -

A77 Southbound traffic diverted from Bellfield – A76 SB – A719 SB – Sandyford Rbt

A77 Northbound traffic diverted from Sandyford – A719 NB – A76 NB – Bellfield (continue WB on A71 to join A78 at Warrix)

A78 Southbound traffic, advance signed from Warrix – A71 EB – Bellfield for A77 NB traffic (A77 SB traffic continue A76 SB – A719 SB – A77 at Sandyford)

Monkton services / Monkton only accessible from Monktonhead Rbt.

Our workers, and those of our contractors, will follow strict physical distancing protocols as part of our steps to return safely to work, and deliver those essential maintenance schemes that have been identified as vital to maintaining the integrity and safety of the trunk road network.

PLEASE NOTE: there will be no provision for abnormal loads through the works area; however it should be noted that Emergency Services shall not be affected by these works.

Keep updated on all things local
