Roadworks planned for Irvine

Road users are being asked to plan ahead as overnight roadworks are carried out at Annick Road in Irvine this week.

Surface improvement works will get under way at a section of Annick Road, Irvine, between Mackintosh Place Junction and Newmoor Roundabout.

The works will be carried out overnight from 9pm to 5am on Wednesday 12 March and Thursday 13 March 2025.

This will require this stretch of road to be closed to traffic. Drivers are asked to observe the signed diversions which will be in place and allow appropriate time for journeys while works are carried out.

North Ayrshire Council is carrying out improvements to road surface and while we appreciate this will cause some temporary inconvenience to motorists, it will bring long-term benefits through road improvements.
