THE newly expanded Irvine store, located in the Rivergate Shopping Centre, has welcomed Jayne Vallance, an audiologist with more than 18 years’ experience working for the NHS, to the team as the store’s new audiology director.
Jayne has joined the team to lead the store’s new dedicated audiology hub, which provides key hearing care support such as hearing tests, wax removal services and support with fitting and repairing hearing aids, from the store’s two new dedicated audiology testing rooms.
Jayne worked as an audiologist within the NHS for almost two decades covering many different areas of hearing care, such as adult and paediatric hearing assessments and rehabilitation.She also has years of experience working within tinnitus and balance clinics, aided by her master’s degree in Rehabilitative Audiology, which has provided her with an in-depth knowledge to support people’s physical, emotional and social needs which can be affected by hearing difficulties or hearing loss.
With her expertise in audiology, Jayne will lead the store’s new audiology team, following the recent £350,000 store expansion to further boost the capabilities and support that the Specsavers Irvine can provide customers with.
This investment and growth of the store will allow the team to offer more opportunities for in-depth hearing tests with the store’s professional team, helping to efficiently care for the health and wellbeing of the local community.
