The Kiltwalk Glasgow event will take place on Sunday 26th April 2020 and the hospice is determined to make it the best one yet. Last year the hospice had their highest record of supporters to date – 82 walkers who managed to raise a fantastic £26,000!
And this year they are looking to beat that number!
Ron Swanson, Assistant Fundraising Manager at the Ayrshire Hospice explains:
“In 2019 we have been touched by the phenomenal amount of walkers and funds raised at this year’s Kiltwalk events. Now we are determined to make the 2020 Kiltwalks the best ones yet!
“It costs over £22,000 per day to run all of our hospice services and our charity relies on the kindness and goodwill of the Ayrshire community. We’d love as many people to take part as possible and particularly join us for the Glasgow event in April.”
To register for 2020 walkers can simply visit www.thekiltwalk.co.uk.
