Ayrshire's spookiest festival will return to Rozelle House Museum and Galleries this October with a haunting experience like no other!
Step into Tamfest and the eerie world of 'Madame McMaster and her Collection of Curiosities', in a gothic adventure that blends chills with Scottish folklore.
Visitors of all ages can enjoy a free, self-led walk around Rozelle Park where they will encounter Madame McMaster's spooky sculptures on display. The sculptures were created by local artists and produced by Toria Cassidy and Gregor Campbell, owners of the popular local 'In Time Escape Rooms'.
A fictional display of folklore and macabre unfolds inside Rozelle House with Madame McMaster's 'Collection of Oddities' on display from Friday 11 October. You can explore the collection for free during Rozelle's normal opening hours.
For those looking for an extra spooky experience, book onto the 30-minute theatrical tour 'Fathoms of Fear' from Wednesday 16 October right through until Hallowe'en. This immersive play (suitable for those aged 12 and older) combines Victorian melodrama, camp humour, and spine-chilling horror.
The story follows Madame McMaster as she invites the audience to explore her private collection of oddities. When an unexpected guest arrives, it sparks a supernatural game of cat and mouse. Booking is essential and tickets can be purchased here.
Gallery One will also be open for crafts and activities, such as Pumpkin lino printing or making your own curious creatures, and potion making for those who like things to be spooky, but not scary.
