Showcasing part of the Gaiety’s Culture Collective* programme, this is a rehearsed reading of a new play by Des Dillon, based on harrowing experiences of recovery. These intertwined and heart-breaking stories have four addicts tumbling into the abyss and only four miracles can save them. Created in partnership with Riverside Community Trust Ayr.
*Ayr Gaiety is one of twenty-three projects in Scotland that makeup The Culture Collective, a pilot programme establishing a network of creative practitioners, organisations and communities working together to create a positive difference locally and nationally in response to COVID-19.
Roy G Hemmings Motown Show

Ex Drifters member Roy G Hemmings’ Motown Show is a celebration of timeless Motown and Soul songs with hits by The Supremes, Four Tops, Temptations and Marvin Gaye to name but a few. This electrifying show features such classic hits as ‘Baby Love’, ‘Dancing In The Street’, ‘My Girl’, ‘I Can’t Help Myself’ and ‘I Heard It Through The Grapevine’ to name a few. Fronted by Roy G Hemmings who has been the longest serving member of The Drifters, Roy has appeared at The White House for the (then) President Bill Clinton also at the Royal Albert Hall, to name of few of the prestige venues he has appeared around the world.

Back by popular demand, the popular Keep it Country Show returns for another night of toe-tapping magic from 4 of the Emerald Isles best loved stars. The show will feature the Queen of Country music Philomena Begley who is celebrating 60 years in showbiz will perform a host of her trademark hits like ‘Blanket on the Ground’, ‘The Queen of the Silver Dollar’ and ‘The way old friends do’ to name but a small few. The hilarious Gary Gamble with his surreal impressions of Daniel O Donnell will have you tickled pink with laughter, the energetic Shaun Loughrey with his lively set, and the popular singing brickie, Conor McKay, makes his long-awaited welcome return to Scotland. Each of the performers will be accompanied by the fabulous Keltic Storm backing band making this a show you certainly won’t want to miss!
