One of Ayrshire’s leading spa hotels has been unveiled as ‘Best Hotel Wedding Venue’ in the west of Scotland at the National Confetti Wedding Awards 2025.
SimpsInns’ Gailes Hotel & Spa in Irvine has picked up the top accolade having gone head-to-head with a variety of other leading hotel wedding venues from around the country.
Confetti is an independently judged award scheme celebrating the best of the Scottish wedding industry. Winners are chosen following a nationwide search for the best companies as voted for by their customers, as well as being researched and reviewed by a panel of industry specialists.
Located just 40 minutes from Glasgow, The Gailes Hotel & Spa has quickly established itself as one of the most stylish and contemporary wedding venues on the Ayrshire coast.
Re-launched in 2022 after a £250,000 luxurious makeover, The Lagavulin Suite at The Gailes has the flexibility to host smaller, intimate weddings, as well as more extravagant gatherings for up to 250 guests, including civil and religious ceremonies. The Gailes also offers a purpose-built outdoor Wedding Pavilion located in the hotel’s private gardens, as well as an elegant rooftop conservatory and garden terrace with sweeping views over the countryside and beyond towards the Isle of Arran.
