A warmer spell of weather is on the way across Ayrshire next week thanks to high pressure moving in across the UK.
Our current cold & windy weather of late will be replaced with some much-needed warm sunshine next week along with much lighter winds. Although we are now in mid-September, temperatures next week could hit 23c across some parts of Ayrshire, which is very warm for this time of year.
The settled weather is set to continue all of next week and last into the weekend although cooling down into the high teens by Friday.
