The school in East Ayrshire have issued a notice that they will be closing for 48 hours from tomorrow for a ’deep clean’.
Parents received an SMS message this evening stating the closure and it’s also on the Willowbank school website.
The move has been made as a precautionary measure say bosses.
The issued statement said:
“Following advice from NHS A&A Public Heath, Willowbank will close for 48 hours from tomorrow for a deep clean. This is a precautionary measure in order to safeguard wellbeing of pupils and staff.
“A further update will be provided in due course. School expected to reopen Wednesday”.
