A huge fire currently taking hold of the Belleisle house Hotel can be seen from Ayr town centre and Ayr beach as smoke rises hundreds of feet into the Air.

Numerous fire crews are on the scene with most of the roads surrounding the area being closed to allow emergency access and for safety reasons.
Gas explosions were also heard coming from the building.
