Social butterflies from Ayrshire and beyond with a penchant for fabulous food and drink are in for a treat as Buzzworks Holdings, Scotland’s premier hospitality group, has opened the doors to its newest venture - Vic’s & The Vine.
The stunning new Prestwick venue, formerly Elliots bar and restaurant, has benefitted from a seven figure investment, transforming the popular venue into the perfect day to night destination, catering for all.
At a preview opening on Saturday 11th May, the new Vic’s & The Vine welcomed over 600 regulars and new customers keen to see the venue’s fresh look and be one of the first to sample the innovative bar and restaurant menu.
Kenny Blair, Buzzworks Managing Director, said: “Watching the complete overhaul of Elliots to see the new Vic’s & The Vine take shape has been very exciting and customer feedback so far has been fantastic.
“We are proud to have opened the doors to our striking new venue and although the interior may have changed beyond recognition, the same world class service will still be on offer and we can’t wait to welcome both regulars and new customers to Vic’s & The Vine.”
Guests through the venue’s doors on opening night were treated to a sample of things to come from the venue of two halves. Tank Tennent’s lager, an Ayrshire first, flowed throughout the night in Vic’s, the new contemporary bar, whilst canapes showcasing some of the new dishes from The Vine made their way throughout the stylish restaurant during the evening.
The new stage and live music system was also put through its paces as Glasgow band Studio played to the crowd, with resident DJ Alan Cameron taking over and playing into the small hours.
The project, overseen by international designer Jim Hamilton, boasts a cutting-edge new look for the former Elliots bar and restaurant. Vic’s bar features three 500 litre chilled copper beer tanks, a stunning new glass skylight, an authentic fireplace and impressive wall art murals by artist Michael Corr.
The stylish Vine restaurant now boasts a relaxed family-friendly atmosphere with space for 150 guests, serving fantastic food from breakfast until late, seven days a week –and even has a large party dining area, making The Vine ideal for celebrations, romantic meals and everything in between.
Visitors can also enjoy a leisurely coffee and freshly baked cake from the neighbouring Bakehouse throughout the day.
The Vic’s bar, with its stunning interior, is a modern take on the traditional bar, featuring live sport and entertainment seven days a week, with screenings in 4K.
The venue’s renowned nightlife scene will also continue at Vic’s, with late-night DJ’s filling the dancefloor until 2.30am each weekend as part of the bar’s new and varied entertainment programme.
