Ayrshire Chamber has launched a new leadership events series aimed at business owners, senior teams and decision-makers across the region.

The expanded programme has been designed to bring influential voices, senior leaders and thought-provoking perspectives to Ayrshire’s business community.
The Chamber said the series will move beyond traditional networking by creating space for insight, challenge, discussion and meaningful connection. It forms part of Ayrshire Chamber’s wider commitment to supporting strong leadership and sustainable business success, while helping to position Ayrshire as an ambitious and well-connected place to do business.
The series will launch with An Audience with Owen Wyatt, Chief Growth Officer at DC Thomson. The session, titled Raised on Resilience: Leadership, Growth and Navigating Change with Owen Wyatt, will explore how leaders navigate change, make clear decisions and create the conditions for business growth.
Owen will draw on experience from a career spanning Sky Sports, Reuters, CNN International, the launch of a successful YouTube start-up and his current role at DC Thomson. The discussion will include insight from media, business, politics and economic change.
The event will also focus on Owen’s personal story of perspective and perseverance. His grandfather survived the sinking of a torpedoed merchant ship in the Atlantic during the Second World War, with lessons passed down through generations continuing to shape how Owen thinks about challenge, leadership and adaptability.
Claire Baird, Chief Executive of Ayrshire Chamber, said:
“We are delighted to launch this new addition to our events programme, giving Ayrshire’s business community the opportunity to hear directly from influential leaders and thinkers.
These events are about more than networking - they are designed to spark ideas, challenge thinking and build the confidence and connections that help businesses grow.”
Businesses across Ayrshire are being encouraged to book their place for the launch event, which will explore leadership, change and business growth.
