A family-run Kilmarnock company has been recognised as the best in the UK after winning a prestigious national award for its work on a luxury hotel spa.
G&S Tiling Ltd received the Tile Association Award for Best Commercial Project Over 500m² for its work at the Old Course Hotel in St Andrews.
The Tile Association is the UK’s leading trade body for the tiling industry, with its annual awards regarded as one of the highest forms of recognition within the sector.
G&S Tiling Ltd was the only Scottish company shortlisted in the category, making the national success particularly significant for the Ayrshire business.
The award-winning project involved extensive tiling work within the luxury spa at the renowned five-star Old Course Hotel, which overlooks the famous golf course and West Sands beach in St Andrews.

The company has continued to expand and has recently opened a new tile supply shop in Kilmarnock, serving professional tradespeople as well as members of the public.
