Officers have released an image of a man who they believe may be able to assist with an investigation into an incident in Ayr on Saturday 30, May 2026.
Enquiries are ongoing to trace a man in relation to the theft of an item of jewellery from a premises on Alloway Street. The item has since been recovered.
The man in the image is described as around 30-40 years old, around 5ft 7ins tall, of stocky build. He had a shaven bald head and a bull-head tattoo on the back of his head. He was wearing a black jacket with a light-coloured hoodie top underneath, light-coloured t-shirt, and black Adidas tracksuit bottoms. He had light-coloured trainers on and spoke with broken English.
Anyone who can help identify and trace the man is asked to contact officers as soon as possible via 101, quoting incident number 1506 of 6 June 2026.
