North Ayrshire Council’s Customer Service Centre located at Bridgegate Irvine and the Housing Advice Team at Galt House have now moved to Cunninghame House.

Re-locating in mid-May, residents are reminded of the moves to ensure they are aware of the new service locations for the Council’s Customer Service and Housing Advice teams.
The recent office moves are part of North Ayrshire’s wider locality-based Estates Strategy to rationalise the Council’s property portfolio, reduce running costs and maximise Council services. As part of this change, North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership, Housing and Customer Service Centre teams have now relocated to Cunninghame House. Since the start of January 2026, refurbishment works have been underway and are now completed on the ground floor of North Ayrshire Council’s headquarters at Friars Croft in Irvine to provide a streamlined transition. The refurbishment has seen the creation of a new check-in area including two service desks and six customer interview rooms. Members of the public will now also attend appointments within meeting rooms of Cunninghame House.”

A new system is now operating for customer appointments and upon arrival to the ground floor entrance (facing the Rivergate Shopping Centre), members of the public will be required to check-in.
Walk-in appointments are also still welcomed, and these are operated via a digital self check-in ticketing system.
When a customer checks-in at Cunninghame House reception, the hosting officer will be notified and will escort the customer to the appropriate meeting room.
The public services now being provided at Cunninghame House include registration of births, deaths and marriages, homeless support and housing advice.
Both the Customer Service Team at Bridgegate House and the Housing Advice Team at Galt House officially closed at their previous locations on Friday 15 May 2026 and posters are on display to direct members of the public to the new service location.
For customers requiring to speak to someone via the telephone rather than in person, they can do so via the Customer Service Centre on 01294 310000(Customer Services) and 01294 314600 (Housing Advice Team) during normal business hours.
Cunninghame House is open to the public each weekday from 9am until 4.45pm (Monday to Thursday) and 9am until 4.30pm (Fridays).
