Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with a drugs recovery in Girvan.
Around 11am on Thursday, 2 July, 2026, officers executed a warrant at a property on Dalrymple Street. A cannabis cultivation was discovered within with an estimated street value of £300,000.
Two men, aged 30 and 32, have been arrested and charged in connection.
They appeared at Ayr Sheriff Court on Friday, 3 July, 2026.
Sergeant Andrew Kelly said: “This recovery highlights our commitment to tackling dangerous and illegal drugs in our local communities.
“We are determined to protect the public from this harmful criminality by disrupting the drugs trade and preventing their manufacture and distribution.
