Police have arrested and charged two women after drugs and a significant quantity of cash were seized during a warrant at a property in Kilmarnock.

Officers from Kilmarnock’s Priority and Locality Policing Teams executed a search warrant at an address on Tourhill Road on Wednesday, 24 June.
During the search, officers recovered a quantity of Class A and Class C drugs, along with what police described as a significant quantity of cash.
A 51-year-old woman and a 56-year-old woman have been arrested and charged in connection with the recovery.
Police Inspector Walker said: “Regular proactive work from our officers removes harmful substances from our streets, brings people to justice, and helps to keep our communities safe.
