An Ayrshire dad has died after an apparent drowning in Poland.
The body of 54-year old William Higgins from Mauchline was noticed by passers-by in the Polish River Oder on Saturday morning.
Mr Higgins only arrived in Poland on Friday on his son's stag night.
Robbery has been ruled out as a motive as he still had his ID and passport.
The Foreign Office have confirmed they are providing full support to a family following the death of William.
