✈️ AYR SHOW PARK & RIDE RETURNS AS 260,000 VISITORS EXPECTED 🚌

Stagecoach has renewed its partnership with South Ayrshire Council ahead of this year’s International Ayr Show – Festival of Flight, with around 260,000 visitors expected across the weekend.
The huge free event returns to Ayr’s Low Green on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 September, and Stagecoach will once again operate frequent park and ride shuttle buses to help get visitors into the heart of the action.
Park and ride services will run from Ayr Racecourse on both days, with an additional site at Rozelle on Saturday.
Visitors planning to drive are being urged to book parking in advance, with those paying on the day facing a surcharge and spaces subject to availability.
The popular open-top commentary bus will also return, giving the Flight Director a dedicated platform to provide live commentary and expert insight throughout the spectacular flying displays.
Friday evening’s flying programme is scheduled to run from 6.15pm until around 8.40pm, while Saturday’s displays are expected to begin at 1.30pm.
Alongside the aircraft, visitors can enjoy the Festival Village, live entertainment, family activities, food and drink, fairground attractions and market stalls.
With Ayr set to welcome one of the biggest crowds of the year, organisers are encouraging everyone to plan their journey early and use public transport wherever possible.
