A range of service changes will take place across the network including here in Ayrshire which includes the Ayr service 7 being replaced with a new 3B service.
Ayrshire
Service 97 Ayr – Craig Tara Holiday Park
Our seasonal service 97 will no longer operate from Tuesday 2nd December, the last day of service will be Monday 1st December and will return in March 2026.
Service 12 Ardrossan – Stevenston
Services on a Sunday will now depart every 70 minutes.
Service 25/25A/B/C/D/E Irvine – Beith
Service 25 leaving Beith will now leave at 55 minutes past the hour instead of 5 minutes past the hour Monday to Friday.
The service 25 route has be revised and the new route to Irvine will travel via Chestnut Avenue, Hawthorn Avenue, Mains Road, and Reform Street, before continuing on the normal route from The Strand into Irvine.
Customers boarding at Beith Strand should use the stop on Dalry Road before Chestnut Avenue to access the revised route through Hawthorn Crescent and Mains Road.
Please note that Meadowside will no longer be served along with the following stops will not being served:

617053 – Strand
617054 – Reform Street
617074 – Mains Street
617057 – Meadowside at Meadowside Park
617056 – Meadowside at bus shelter
Service X36 Ardrossan – Beith – Glasgow
The 0730, X36 Monday to Friday from Buchanan Bus Station will now leave at 0725. In addition to this, some services will be altered by a few minutes, to help improve reliability.
Service X77 Ayr – Glasgow
To help improve reliability, the timetable has been altered by a few minutes.
We have also introduced the new X77K service which will increase journeys between Glasgow and Ayr. The service will also serve Kilmarnock and follow the normal X77 route.
On Sundays, our service frequency will increase to every 30 minutes.
Service 52 Ayr – Bellsbank
Evening services from Hollybush will alter by a few minutes.
Service 58/358/60/360 Ayr – Girvan – Stranraer
Services will alter by a few minutes.
Service 347 Ayr – Rankinston
The service 347 will now travel through Drongan using the same route as the service 42/42A. Customers will now catch the bus at bus stops on the opposite side of the road.
Service 1 & 9 Burns Statue Square – Masonhill - Doonfoot
Services will alter by a few minutes.
Service 7 Burns Statue Square – Castlehill Mount, Ayr
The service 7 will no longer operate and will be replaced by the service 3B. More details on the service 3B can be found below.
Service 3B Kincaidston – Whitletts – Dalmilling
The service 3B will operate hourly and will replace the service 7.
Service 3B will now operate from Monday to Saturday only. When leaving Kincaidston, the bus will travel via Burnbank Road, Annfield Glen Road, Peggieshill Road, Fenwickland Avenue, and Belmont Avenue, before continuing along Castlehill Road into the town centre.
From there, it will follow the usual Service 3 route towards Whitletts and Dalmilling.
Please note that stops on Belmont Road and Dalmellington Road between Castlehill Roundabout and Burnbank Road will no longer be served.
Service 6 Ayr – Marchburn
Service 6 will now serve Ayr Morrisons supermarket after Burns Statue Square, before continuing to the Lorne Arcade between 0905 and 1445, Monday to Saturday.
Service 14 Ayr – Troon – Irvine
Services will alter by a few minutes.
Service 28A Irvine Local
Service 28A on a Sunday, will no longer serve Irvine Tesco and will operate to Dickson Drive.
Service X76 (with X71/X79/X78)
Services will alter by a few minutes.
We have also introduced the new X77K service which will increase journeys between Glasgow and Kilmarnock the service will follow the normal X76 route.
On Sundays, our service frequency will increase to every 30 minutes.
Service 1 Kilmarnock – Priestland
Services will alter by a few minutes between Galston and Kilmarnock
Service 11 Ardrossan – Kilmarnock
On Sundays, the service will now start at 0635 from Ardrossan Chapelhill Mount, and 0620 from Kilmarnock Bus Station.
Service 10 Kilmarnock – Dundonald – Troon
Services will alter by a few minutes.
Services 30 and 30A Montgomerie Park – Greenwood Academy
Service 30A will now serve Littlestane Road.
