accommodation as communities across Ayrshire begin to recover.

In the aftermath of Storm Boelo, which caused significant damage to properties and

communities across Ayrshire, local serviced accommodation provider Donnini

Apartments has been supporting residents who have been forced to find somewhere

else to stay.

As an Ayrshire-based business with properties across the region, Donnini has been

working with those affected by the storm, helping arrange both short and longer-term

accommodation while they assess the damage to their homes and make alternative

arrangements.

For some, the disruption has been sudden and unexpected, with very little time to

prepare.

One guest currently staying with Donnini explained:

"Our roof was completely destroyed in the storm, and we literally had to find somewhere

to stay within hours."

Experiences like this have highlighted just how quickly circumstances can change for

people affected by severe weather, with finding somewhere safe to stay becoming an

immediate priority.

A local business supporting its community

For Donnini, being based in Ayrshire means being part of the same communities

affected by the storm.

While the company regularly provides accommodation for holidaymakers, business

travellers and those requiring temporary housing, the team has been supporting

residents directly affected by Storm Boelo. As an Ayrshire-based business with

properties across the region, Donnini has been helping individuals and families find

somewhere to stay while they assess damage to their homes and make alternative

arrangements.

Depending on individual circumstances, this can mean somewhere for a few nights

while immediate arrangements are made, or a longer-term solution while repairs and

insurance claims are underway. The team have also been working directly with guests or their insurance providers to

help coordinate accommodation and make the process as straightforward as possible.

David Russell, Marketing Manager at Donnini, said:

"It's been really difficult to see the impact Storm Boelo has had on Ayrshire. These are

the communities we live and work in, and we know that there are people dealing with

some very unexpected circumstances.

"Where we can help, we will try our best. Having somewhere comfortable to stay can

take one immediate worry away while people work out what happens next.

"We're doing what we can as a local business to support people in a community that

has served us so well over the years."

Looking ahead

As Ayrshire continues to deal with the aftermath of Storm Boelo, the need for temporary

accommodation may continue for some time, particularly for those facing extensive

property damage.

Donnini hopes to remain a point of contact for anyone who may need somewhere to

stay, whether following this storm or another unexpected situation in the future
