Businesses across Ayr town centre and Ayr North are being invited to attend two events to learn more about a community-led programme aimed at shaping the town’s future.

Pride in Place Ayr brings together residents, businesses, community organisations and public sector partners to develop projects that will make Ayr a better place to live, work, study, visit and invest.
Two business sessions will take place at the Fairfield Hotel in Ayr, giving those attending the opportunity to meet the programme’s board, connect with other businesses and discuss partnership and funding opportunities.
The sessions will be held on:
Tuesday 3 November, from 5.30pm to 8pm.
Thursday 5 November, from 8am to 9.30am.

Businesses can choose whichever session suits them best. Both will offer the chance to discover how Pride in Place can support businesses and how they can contribute to the programme.
Working across the Northern Ayr and Town Centre Regeneration Corridor, Pride in Place Ayr aims to strengthen communities, improve neighbourhoods, support local opportunities and create stronger connections between people and places.

Its vision for Ayr in 2036 is a connected, thriving and welcoming town where people feel proud of their neighbourhoods, have access to opportunities, enjoy high-quality public spaces and play an active role in shaping their communities.

The programme will build on existing investment and local ambition, with residents and organisations also encouraged to put forward ideas for projects that could benefit the area now and in the future.
Businesses wishing to attend can register using the relevant morning or evening session QR code on the event publicity. Queries can be emailed to contact@prideinplaceayr.org.
