Miss Great Britain Ayrshire has announced its first-ever Legacy Charity Partnership, marking a major milestone in the organisation’s commitment to supporting women and children across the local community.
The new partnership has been established with Colette from Ayr, a director at Professional Beauty Systems, a company that creates and distributes a range of beauty products.
Through the partnership, Colette has committed to donating surplus stock, samples and excess products to Women’s Aid services across North, South and East Ayrshire.
The products will be distributed to women and children who have experienced domestic abuse, including those who have been forced to leave their homes during extremely difficult circumstances.
The first delivery, containing a selection of Jerome Russell products, has already been made this month.
Miss Great Britain Ayrshire said the partnership reflects its ambition to create a lasting legacy that reaches far beyond the pageant stage.
Although beauty and self-care products may appear to be simple everyday items, organisers said they can provide comfort, dignity and confidence to those experiencing some of the most challenging periods of their lives.

Organisers hope the partnership will be the first of many collaborations with individuals and businesses that want to make a positive difference across Ayrshire.
They added: “Together, we are proving that when women support women, extraordinary things can happen.”
