The red lion in Prestwick has voluntary closed today after a staff member returned a positive test for Coronavirus its been confirmed.
The Red Lion has said it will likely remain closed over the weekend until its given further information by "Test & Protect" on its next steps on opening or tracing.
The Red Lion issued the following statement:
Morning Guys. We have unfortunately had member of staff return a positive case. Despite being advised from EHO that we are fine to remain open we wouldn’t feel right doing so until we have spoken to test & protect and are reassured it’s safe to do so. We will be shut today and most likely for the weekend. Team Lion 🦁
