Overnight carriageway resurfacing of Sandgate, Ayr is taking place from Sunday 8th September, 2019 for approximately 10 days between 2000hrs and 0600hrs each night which also closes High Street, Ayr to through traffic.
Buses towards Ayr town centre from Prestwick Road (services 4, 6, 14 & X77) and Whitletts Road (2, 3, 43 & 43A) will divert via John Street and Miller Road to Ayr Bus Station. Buses that should serve Ayr High Street from Burns Statue Square (services 2, 3, 6, 42 & 361) will divert to Ayr Bus Station (via Miller Road) then use Fort Street to return to their normal route on Main Street or King Street.
