Take A Bow Opportunity Centre is celebrating after being named the winner of the Community Regeneration category at the Scottish Civic Trust’s 2026 My Place Awards.
The award recognises the transformation of the centre into a thriving community hub that creates opportunities, encourages creativity and supports people within the local area.
The team said the project had started as a dream before growing into an award-winning facility used and enjoyed by the community.
A spokesperson for Take A Bow Opportunity Centre said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been named the winner of the Community Regeneration category at the Scottish Civic Trust 2026 My Place Awards.
“What started as a dream has become an award-winning community hub, and we could not be prouder.

The My Place Awards celebrate projects and people who make a positive contribution to Scotland’s built environment and local communities.
Take A Bow Opportunity Centre said the recognition would strengthen its determination to continue creating opportunities, inspiring creativity and making a lasting difference within the community.
